AB Antiplatelet and anticoagulant drugs are the mainstay of treatment of acute coronary syndrome (ACS). The last 30 years have seen the development of various agents, a deeper understanding of the pathobiology of this disease, and an evolution in its treatment. We review the role of contemporary agents in ACS and highlight key clinical trials of these agents.
