AB Intimate partner violence (IPV) is a prevalent, complex, and challenging women’s health problem associated with a number of negative medical, reproductive, and mental health conditions. When clinicians bring up the topic with their patients, patients are more likely to disclose. Supportive counseling and referrals are associated with improved safety and health.
