An association between pancreas divisum and acute recurrent pancreatitis has been suggested. The authors report the radio-graphic finding of partial pancreas divisum in which a rudimentary connection persists between the ventral and dorsal portions of the pancreatic ductal system. Its clinical significance is uncertain but may be similar to that of pancreas divisum proper.
