AB  - Glycoprotein (GP) Ilb/IIIa inhibitors are potent antiplatelet agents and represent an exciting breakthrough in the treatment of acute coronary syndromes. However, their safety and cost-effectiveness require further investigation, and more information on risk stratification is needed to clarify which patients benefit the most from empiric use of these agents.
