The reported incidence varies from 2.1 % to 12.2%. The time of occurrence in most cases is within three hours of angioplasty. Intimal tears and intracoronary thrombus are important angiographic predisposing factors. Redilation appears to be an effective means of managing this complication in most patients. ER -
