YR 2005 UL http://www.ccjm.org/content/72/8/689.abstract AB Wegener granulomatosis classically involves clinical disease of the upper airways, lungs, and kidneys. Ninety percent of patients present with symptoms involving the upper or lower airways, or both, and it should be suspected in any patient with pulmonary hemorrhage, glomerulonephritis, mononeuritis multiplex, unexplained multisystem disease, or progressive unresponsive sinus disease. Current treatments induce remission and allow long-term survival.
