AB  - Accidental falls are a preventable cause of serious injuries and death in the elderly. Recent studies have identified a number of risk factors for falls, including sedative use, cognitive impairment, lower extremity weakness, and impaired vision. Office evaluation that focuses on finding the cause helps to identify what interventions are needed to prevent recurrent falls.
