AB Monoamine oxidase inhibitor use is considered a contraindication for elective surgery. We reviewed 32 patients on a regimen of isocarboxazid 10 mg daily who underwent elective surgery. Their anesthetic management, postanesthesia outcome, and pharmacology are described.
