In vitro fertilization has become simpler and less invasive, w i t h success rates as high as 3 0 % per cycle. Intracytoplasmic sperm injection has solved many types of male infertility. This article explains in vitro fertilization technology and discusses such ethical issues as embryo ownership, multiple births, and embryo genetic testing.
