YR 1999 UL http://www.ccjm.org/content/66/3/166.abstract AB Multicentric reticulohistiocytosis is a rare cutaneous-articular disease that may mimic more common disorders such as rheumatoid arthritis or tophaceous gout. In one fourth of patients, it is a paraneoplastic process. This brief overview is aimed at physicians who care for patients with polyarthritis, to alert them to distinctive features that differentiate multicentric reticulohistiocytosis from the common arthritides.
