AB By incorporating additional data, clinicians can transform the exercise stress test from a poor diagnostic test to a good prognostic one. These additional data include indices of how the patient’s heart rate and blood pressure respond to exercise. Computerized measures of electrocardiographic ST-segment changes that adjust for heart rate also show promise.
