AB  - Macromolecule removal by membrane plasma separation with on-line plasma filtration in rheumatoid arthritis patients undergoing cryofiltration treatments has been quantified. A single pool model provided good estimates of post-treatment concentrations of immunoglobulins, albumin, total globulin, and total cholesterol. Net generation of these solutes as well as rheumatoid factor and circulating immune complexes has been shown to be highly individual and related to intertreatment durations and concomitant drug therapy.
