AB  - An infant with subcutaneous nodules was diagnosed as having congenital generalized fibromatosis based on the histopathological examination. During the child’s first year of life, additional symptoms developed which were compatible with a diagnosis of fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva; this was later confirmed radiologically.
