AB The new and important problem of latex allergy deserves the attention of all health care professionals and institutions. Latex products we use every day may cause serious consequences for patients and coworkers. All providers must develop a plan for protecting allergic patients and staff from latex exposure, and for managing allergic reactions should they occur.
