AB  - A neonate presenting with a density of the right mid-thorax was found, at thoracotomy, to have an extralobar pulmonary sequestration. The sequestration was resected, and the infant made an uneventful recovery. The morphogenesis, diagnosis, and management of this uncommon lesion are discussed.
