How to Claim Reviewer Credit
Complete a peer review for continuing medical education credit (CME)
Individuals completing a peer review of a manuscript for the Cleveland Clinic Journal of Medicine (CCJM) are eligible for AMA/PRA Category 1 Credit™ from the Cleveland Clinic Center for Medical Education (myCME) website. The maximum available credits is 3.0.
How to claim credit
- Complete a peer review for CCJM (see Reviewer Instructions).
- After you submit your completed review via Editorial Manager, you will receive an email thanking you for your review that includes a link to the myCME website.
The link will go to the myCME login page.
- If you are registered with myCME, enter your login information. If you are not registered, you will need to establish a user account (New Member Account) to proceed and receive credit.
When creating a New Member Account, the following information is required: first and last name, degree, practice type, employer (Cleveland Clinic or Other), specialty, a password, and email address.
- Upon login or creating a New Member Account, you will see the “Application for Credit: Cleveland Clinic Journal of Medicine Manuscript Review” page.
The page describes the purpose, learner objectives, accreditation, process, and disclosure for the manuscript review activity.
- Click “Proceed to Evaluation” and complete the evaluation.
Please note: you will need to include the title of the article you reviewed in the “Article Title” field on the evaluation form.
- Once you complete the evaluation, select “Save and Exit” or “Next Step.”
When you select “Next Step,” you will see the number of credits you are claiming for the CCJM Manuscript Review activity (maximum available 3.0).
- Select “Save and View Certificate” to complete the process and view/print the Certificate Recorded.
