ABSTRACT
A patient with Actinobacillus actinomycetemcomitans endocarditis, a rare cause of gram-negative endocarditis, is reported. This case is unique in that it is the onlyone in the literature with documented involvement of both prosthetic (aortic) and native (mitral) valves. The patient required surgical replacement of the aortic valve prosthesis and debridement of the mitral valve, as well as prolonged antibiotic therapy.
