ABSTRACT
Pancreas divisum is a well known condition that results when the embryologic dorsal and ventral pancreatic buds fail to fuse. An association between pancreas divisum and acute recurrent pancreatitis has been suggested. The authors report the radio-graphic finding of partial pancreas divisum in which a rudimentary connection persists between the ventral and dorsal portions of the pancreatic ductal system. Its clinical significance is uncertain but may be similar to that of pancreas divisum proper.
